Le Traynor Small Block SB115 Bass compact et léger est parfait pour le musicien œuvrant professionnellement dans le milieu de la musique. Doté de fonctions essentielles telles que les entrées de niveau actif et passif XLR DI, une sortie DI XLR, un égaliseur quatre bandes polyvalent avec un extenseur de basses fréquences supplémentaire, il permet à l'instrumentiste de composer rapidement et facilement tous les sons.

No buyer remorse on this purchase. The Gain knob and EQ adjustment knobs work well and I can play bass quietly or rattle the windows. The added bonus occurred when I plugged in my Strat with pedals and pushed in the tweeter and adjusted the gain on this amp. I already felt comfortable using it as a bass amp but now I’m using it as a dual purpose amp.

This amp is excellent. I've owned many over my 25+ years of playing, and not once have I been this impressed by a solid state amp in such a small package. The options on it are endless to dial in the tone that you want, and it really performs much better than anyone would expect. I've had it about 2 years, and I'm buying a second one for the cottage, they really are THAT good. I'd like to see it under $500, but the quality is there to justify the price. You wont regret owning this amp!

I bought a Traynor SB115 amp because it has better bottom end than an SB112, which I also own. Other reviewers have covered the technical aspects of the SB115, so I will just give you my impressions. I chose this amp because it was lighter and more compact than other similar amps, including the Fender Rumble 200 V3 and the Markbass CMD 121P. I played in a 5-piece country/rock band, and the SB115 easily kept up with the drummer and other players in a medium-size gig.

I purchased a Traynor SB112, and later purchased an SB115. The SB112 has a linear frequency response of about about 45Hz-20 kHz, compared to about 40Hz-20kHz for the SB115. The main difference between these amps, aside from the speaker size, is that the SB112 is front-ported (slot), while the SB115 is rear-ported (tube). This makes the SB112 cabinet more efficient than the SB115, with the result that the volume output of these two amps is nearly the same. Other differences: The DI line out of the SB115 is pre-EQ, while for the SB112 it is post-EQ. Also, the SB115 has a switchable clip limiter, while the SB112 does not.

I cannot believe a combo this lightweight can sound this good.
I bought this amp a month ago to avoid lugging my beloved GK head/Peavy BW combo to rehearsals. I can literally lift this amp with two fingers, and I am not a big person.
I was apprehensive to bring it to the rock band rehearsal: We play loud, but absolutely no problem keeping up with the kit and guitars, with the master at 2 o'clock and the gain at 12 o'clock, with the eq effectively flat.
The bass expander feature is simply oh so sweet.
If you're looking for an absolutely incredible little 15 combo at an incredibly great price, this is it.

I love this amp too, I use it with an Ibanez 3/4 bass guitar, but now we use it in our church with an ibanaz 5 string fretless bass. The line out enables it to pipe through a great Traynor PA system. Indeed, I do love Traynor.

I'm looking at making the move from a practice/jam sized amp to something that can handle a gig & I love the sound of this one. I'm just holding off on pulling the trigger but don't want to lose it. The only thing this amp is missing is a cabinet output but it sounds a lot nicer than an Ampeg. Oh, decisions, decisions.

The best sounding Bass Amp Combo in this Class, or above.
I heard the 1x10" at an Open Jam, and it was amazing, so you can imagine the larger 1x15" speaker sounds. It blows away Fender's Rumble 200 and TC Electronics 250.

Very reasonably priced in regards to decent bass gear. I gig it frequently but I always find myself reaching the end of the master volume knob in order to hear myslf. The best feature is the XLR connection to a PA. Really gives you that boost you may need in band practice.

But it has its limitations.
Good- Built like a tank as per traynor usual, has great tone and when pushed sounds fantastic. Light and portable.
Not so good- No tuner out, no speaker out, and if playing with a loud drummer it wont keep up.
All in all a fantastic amp but i would love to see an extension speaker option and tuner out.
As long as your realistic on what your using it for.

I have years of lugging either 4X10 or 1X15 + 2X10 cabs behind me. Never one to want to sacrifice tone, I just considered it an occupational hazard. With that said, I'm more often than not going through the PA for front of house, so what the audience is hearing is often out of my hands (luckily, most sound guys do a good job).
All I really need is enough volume so I can hear myself on stage and a tone that makes me happy. If it comes in a small lightweight package, that should be asking too much, but the SB115 delivers perfectly.
I was pretty much forced to make the break from my larger amps when traveling for a gig with a full six -piece band from Mississauga to Montreal with a full six -piece band and limited space for all the gear in one van.
The band's stage volume is often bordering on insanity. Very loud vocal monitors, two guitars, pedal steel, keyboards and full drums. Country-ish band, but our stage volume would give metal bands a run for their money. In this noisy context, the SB115 shines (again, with PA support for front of house).
I play a Fender P-Bass with well worn-in flatwounds. My settings are Gain: 3 o'clock, Bass: noon, Low Mid: 2 o'clock, Hi Mid: 2 o'clock, Treble: noon, Lo Expander: off, Master Volume: 60% - nowhere near full. I also keep the amp on a stand tilted up towards my head.
The sound from the SB115 on-stage is perfect for me. I love the tone I'm hearing. It's much warmer than the Yorkville XM200C (which I also own), but still cuts through a cluttered mix with no issues. Also, compared to the Traynor Dynbass 200 (which delivers only 160 watts through the 4ohm speaker), the SB115 delivers a full 200 watts to the 15" speaker so it's great for small clubs.
For mid-size clubs where I don't have PA support, I have the Traynor SB500H on order to use with Traynor 115 and 210 NEO cabs. After my experience with the SB115, it was an easy decision. The SB series is simply awesome in my opinion.
My much larger Yorkville XS800H and Traynor YBA200-2 are now listed in the classifieds. I love them, but I can no longer see the sense in hauling heavier gear for my personal needs.

I bought this only after testing it once in my local music store. It replaced my existing Ibanez SW100 which was half the power and twice the weight. This amp gives me a wide upper tonal range (for the punch) and the kick-butt bottom end. The direct out is very hot (signal wise) so I have to be careful when using this in a recording or live situation. The expander rounds out my tone nicely. It's is also the first time my band mates have told me to actually turn down - nice. Highly recommended for the part-time player or a home studio.
