Grabbed this case for the new classic hotshot telecaster. Navy blue is nice and the padded fur on the inside goes nicely with it. The guitar does not sit perfectly in the case and is a little bit crooked. I can see what the previous review was talking about with the high e tuner head pressing against the foam, though I've yet to experience it going out of tune. An extra 1-2 inches off the foam would have been a perfect fit. Also the slot for the neck is a little bit off too, the telecaster looks like it's sitting slightly on an angle with the neck on the edge of the groove. Overall it's decent, but for the money I think Fender should have made sure the fit was perfect, especially for the classic series considering it came out with the classic lineup.

Mine is great.
Great quality, came perfectly from the store, and although I understand the concern someone raised in another review regarding the tight space causing the High-E string tuning head, and pushing it out of tune.
I see it, but it never happened to me.

Very well-made quality case. Fender Stratocaster has a secure and snug fit and does not move in the case. Lots of internal padding. A little extra $$ price-wise but worth it.

I just bought one, and i am actually contacting fender about the extremely poor build quality and design of this case. my American Telecaster does not fit in the case, it rests on the High-E string tuning head, and pushes it out of tune, which i have recorded on video. However, the guitar is not secure in the case horizontally and is free to bang around. if you open the case and hold it on one side, and move it back and forth, the entire lid of the case flexes and bends, it will wobble back and forth like a piece of aluminum, due to the cheap/thin shell and the loosely aligned hinges. the stitching is terrible, loose and lazy, with visible staples on every corner, and small burn marks in the material of the case are left where threads were burnt off instead of cut. the latches and hinges are poorly aligned, and the lock is just for show, might as well be a dollarama halloween prop. i can open it with a pen, let alone a butter-knife.
