Pianokids® Journey series is suited to the older beginner, teens and adults. Concepts are introduced more quickly than in the Pianokids® series, but in a logical and step-by-step format. Pianokids® Journey Book 1 introduces the whole, half, quarter, eighth and dotted quarter notes, rests, and the time signatures 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4. Pieces utilize chords in C and G major. Flats, sharps and naturals are included as well as key signatures, the damper pedal and staccato/legato touch. Pieces include original compositions, folk tunes, classical and jazz genres.
