Destroying the Analog / Digital Divide.

In setting out to design Brigadier, we decided to take a super-powerful SHARC DSP and dedicate all of its horsepower to doing one thing and one thing onlydelivering the best analog bucket brigade sound ever. Weve utilized every last drop of DSP power, allowing Brigadier to deliver every minute detail and nuance that makes an analog delay special. Our hand crafted, processor-intense dBucket algorithm delivers all of the sonic complexities of analog bucket delays. No stone has been left unturned.

Brigadier gives you all of the tone and none of the noise of regular old bucket brigade chips, unless of course you choose to add it back with our exclusive Bucket Loss control! Go from warm and clean repeats all the way to noisy, saturated delays. Couple that with dedicated modulation and filter controls, tap tempo, and assignable expression pedal input, and you have yourself a versatile delay powerhouse.

No one echo/delay pedal will do everything everybody wants--but this one does a lot & does it well. I had been using a rack mount echo, but not using other rack mounts & using pedals I decided to get consistent & use a pedal for echo/delay as well. It didn't take long to get some great sounds and I was able to get many. The controls on this should satisfy most guitar players. The mode & tap switches add a lot to this as well, and the bucket loss just gives another option-I normally keep this control low, but for some songs it sounds great to crank it higher. The number of options may be overwhelming for some, but a little bit of time spent playing & tweaking helped narrow things down for me. I am considering a favourite switch to be able to go between two settings. Strymon makes other echo pedals, and I like them, but this one suits my playing the best. Could be fun to do a shoot out with all of them sometime. They are more expensive than many (But not as much as some.)-that may be the only drawback.
