Tama Ergo-Rider Throne with Backrest

The Ergo-Rider seat provides ergonomic comfort and support. A hybrid of round seat and saddle seat, the Ergo-Rider combines the versatility of the former and playability of the latter. The front cutaway allows completely unimpeded thigh movement, even during the most rapid double bass patterns. In addition, two gentle seat indentations and an added 20mm upper insert of soft foam encourage the right posture while providing total playing comfort.
The HT741 has a super stable 4-leg tetrapod with a backrest.The backrest unit on HT741 is both height adjustable and tiltable so it gives you the support you need, no matter how you sit. And there's another user-frienly feature: you can fold the backrest itself onto the seat without disassembling for easier transportation.

Shopped around, look and tried many thrones. This is build very good and strong. If you buy this one chances are you will never need to buy another one, it's worth the investment.

I've tried a lot of thrones, but this one supports my big butt the best! Very solid and stable. 4 double braced legs are a plus. In addition the backrest folds down to facilitate transporting it instead of having to remove it. Backrest tilts back and forth to adjust the angle.

I had bought Mapex round top throne and found now matter how much I tried to tighten the seat it still wiggled and jiggled and tilted giving me an uncomfortable feel. I have always had back issues and it seemed like no matter what I did it was always leaning forward and had me in a slouching position. I bought the Tama - Ergo-Rider Throne with Backrest and was instantly rewarded with a ultra comfortable seating position and a true quality throne. This one may cost more than most but you get what you pay for. NO REGRETS!!
