The Golden Gate mandolin pick, an extra-heavy, extra large triangular pick with rounded corners, is ideal not only for mandolin, but for any fretted instrument that requires power and clarity. These are proving popular with electric guitar and bass players.

This is my preferred pick for my dreadnought acoustic guitar (Martin HD28). It brings out the tone more than other picks I've tried. The rounded edges reduce the "raking" effect that I experience with pointier picks.

This pick brings out the woody mellow tone of the mandolin. No annoying pick noise, all you hear is the music itself. Long lasting and tough. Perfect for all styles of play. Stands up to bluegrass playing and subtle enough for ballads. I have experimented with lots of picks, nothing else compares. Will even improve the sound of a cheap mandolin.
