i have used this model for eons.
i always liked the balence, diameter and the weight.
but it seems like they have started making them a little heavier, and with the extra weight, one would expect a little more durability. however they don't seem as durable.
i should say that they are aimed at jazz and classical musicians, and i use them for rock (and or roll). but i never seemed to recall them breaking so easily.
in spite of that i will continue to use them.
