Owned for many years now. Very comfortable and solid support even when sitting on the edge. I am 230 lbs. and have had no issues with the height slipping, not sure what other reviews here are complaining about... maybe they need to tighten the adjustment bolts more.

Had this throne for the past few months, and for the price it beats anything that I have had in the past. I have 3 different brand drummer thrones and this one beats them all for comfort and reliability. I set the height off the throne and tightened it, set the memory lock and tightened it and been using it every day for the past 8 months and it hasn't moved. And believe me, I play my kit every day!

Honestly, I am a heavy person and the seat and legs of this stool are actually pretty amazing. Very comfy and sturdy. The problem is the height adjustment - It just will not stay up! (I've had others try to sit in it...)
Unfortunately, I am just too tall to keep it at the lowest setting or else I would keep this stool because it really is that comfortable.

The legs are sturdy and the seat is fine. The problem is with the height adjustment which is not the typical threaded shank. The shank is smooth chrome and the memory lock provided is inadequate. You will be cranking hard on the bolt and the memory clamp and the seat may still slide down. This is a serious problem for all but the lightest of people. A hinged memory clamp would be much better than the solid one provided.
