I have a few Behringer pedals now. The EQ700 is my latest one. I wanted an affordable eq to use and learn from. This particular pedal in almost a carbon copy (tone wise) as the popular Boss EQ-7, which costs about five times more. EQ pedals are not stomped on as frequently as say an overdrive or modulation pedal, so the plastic casing is not really an issue for me. The frequency bands and sweep of this Behringer EQ700 are impressive and it does a great job in sculpting the overall sound from my guitar into my amp. I like this pedal and I'm happy to have it on my board. For the price, you can't go wrong. 👍

It works very well in my chain. Metal ZoneMT-2>SansampGT2>EQ700>ActiveDI> Audio Interface. I use it mainly to pull some mud out by backing down the 400 range, and boost 1.6 by a very small amount to add some presence. Others have mentioned hiss or noise, I have none of that, It could be because of the DI box having a ground lift switch, I haven't tested it. I'll probably order another one of these for Guitar>EQ700> the rest of the chain.

Elle fait un bon travail malgré l'enveloppe en plastique. Impressionnant malgré son bas prix après une pédale distortion... Convaincant!

A pretty decent pedal, all things considered. It definitely feels cheap, but at this price I can't complain. I find that I need to over-exaggerate the settings and turn them up to the max settings to really hear a difference. But that might just be me and not the pedal. I'd say that if your curious about what EQ does and just try something out, then get this. If it turns out that EQ isn't your thing, then you didn't have to spend over $100 to find out.

Adds too much hiss to the tone - even when the eq sliders are in the middle (unused) position.
