AX2418x7 Acrylic Drum Shield Height Extenders will add 18" of height to a standard ClearSonic Acrylic Drum Shield, such as the A2448x7 or A2466x7. H-Channel connectors are included for attachment. Each panel is 24" W x 18" H and is constructed of the highest quality 1/4" acrylic material to ensure your extender will provide just as much sound isolation as Clearsonic's regular acrylic shields. These height extenders will also provide more headroom inside your isolation booth, allowing for a total booth height of 7' when used with 5.5' tall drum shields.

All Clearsonic acrylic panels feature full-length, flexible, yet robust plastic hinges that utilize a 'tooth in groove' mechanical lock to securely snap into place for a firm connection between panels that is functional, stable, and aesthetically pleasing.

Hinge Features

• Hinges run the full length of each acrylic panel. This extra coverage provides superior sound isolation by eliminating exposed seams between panels for sound to escape.
• Tooth in groove mechanical lock - the hinge tooth locks into the groove cut into each acrylic panel for superior connection and longer life, especially compared to friction hinges.
• Low profile allows for better aesthetics as hinge blends into the shield better.
• Flexibility - hinge bends 180 degrees in one direction and 90 degrees in the other allowing for accordion style folding. This makes it easier to ship, store, and transport, and allows for a more customized shield footprint.
