This is my first Genelec monitor and it's a HUGE upgrade from my previous JBL LSR305. They sound very articulate and accurate, not boomy; simply neutral. The great things about these is the size, they are small but sound very big. I highly recommend these if you have a small home studio and looking for quality studio monitors

The 8020's are my first experience with Genelec products. These monitors are highly enjoyable. Not only are they an excellent choice for producing, referencing and mixing, as they are clear and accurate, they are literally pleasurable to listen to. Just get them.
