As a licensee of the patented Turbobore, the Swiss company Brand, offers mouthpieces under the name TurboBlow.

TurboBlow: A clever twist in the backbore leads to more volume and fuller sound. The twist is designed so that the air more immediately flows through the instrument and thus has a lower air resistance. (eg. If you want to pour a bottle filled with a liquid, it works better if the bottle is also rotated.)

Result: Voluminous, full sound in all registers. The TurboBlow effect also helps with high notes.

Formerly with a plastics engineering company, Michu Brand, an enthusiastic trumpeter, was inspired to create professionally developed and tested mouthpieces made of plastic that could be accepted in the marketplace.
