Long review. Sorry. So I have a 25 year old cheap Digitech pedal. The octave setting on that pedal sounds amazing.. problem is latency. Very noticeable. Too much so Infact. So I've tried different octave pedals throughout the years with no real luck for what I do. So when the Boss OC5 came out I was so psyched. Low note priority was what I was craving and wanting all these years. Ordered it. Good for what it was but didn't work at all for power chords or bar chords. The pedal got confused and just made weird robot sounds. So disappointed. I play mostly punk and metal so that didn't work for me at all. I recently purchased this Behringer octave pedal at LnM for less than a fast food lunch. Perfect! It does everything I want it to do, exactly how I want to do it. So amazing for a fast punk rock scenario. Drummer + guitar + this pedal equals full on rock band. This thing is amazing!
