I've never owned a mixer until early 2018, I got this one. I don't know how I managed without it. I have it beside me at my PC sitting on top of my amp, slightly propped up, it gets warm, so the vents for the warmth can escape are clear, and I unplug it when not in use. I run my PC audio into line 5/6 (L&R) I run my Galaxy Tablet into line 3/4 (L&R) for drum apps I run my amp into line 1 From the headphones jack I either just listen to music from my PC, or I play guitar along with drum beats. If I don't want headphones on, I run Main Out into my stereo receiver, I can adjust the equalizers because the mixer gives a lot of bass....just turn it down by 1 knob. It has a USB port to run the audio from the mixer into my PC USB. You can record the audio coming from the mixer on PC when I write songs from playing along with drum beats. Overall, it's a great mixer for a beginner like myself. When I get more familiar with it and need more inputs I'll upgrade to a bigger mixer, but for starting out, it does what I need.

Q802USB has a lot for the price, small to fit on my computer desk, (mine didn't wobble, add felt pads?) and doesn't flex when plugging in or out, light but strong. The 2 XLR channels with gain are great, I can see where more of them as on the 1002USB would be good if you don't mind shelling out more cash. 3 band EQ's work well and all the knobs have a nice drag on them. The USB makes for easy recording. I didn't give 5's across the board because I need too many adapter plugs. Channel 3/4 & 5/6 are stereo as are CTRL room and main outs. L input is marked as mono, but sounds in left ear only. Should have a mono button so sound is joined for both ears. Also the sound level meter is not on all the time depending how the buttons are. Would also like a power button. I purchased this to join in on-line lessons for guitar and/or a mic using headphones. I would recommend this product.

Wobbles on a tabletop. No off on switch and power cable is a bit difficult to plug in. Also the power adapter and cable are heavy and wiring is rigid.

The model is lightweight and small. Fits perfectly on the desk. It is designed more for people that have a budget but need the inputs and want to create programming on the PC. It can be used as either a USB input or output USB to the board for analog output to amp.
