It was perfectly fine for my 61 key Nord for awhile, then eventually it crapped out on me during soundcheck a couple hours before a gig. The screw that holds the two pieces together somehow got stripped after like 4 months of moderate use? Ya, wouldn't recommend it my dude, look for a model that doesn't involve twisting it tight if you plan on using it regularly.

If you have a heavy (50lbs-80lbs) 88key keyboard, DO NOT BUY this. Terrible. Bad quality and very unreliable.

I regret not having read the reviews here before purchasing this stand at the local store. I bought a Roland FP-30 digital piano, and as they did not have the matching Roland stand in stock, the store suggested this stand as an option, and I decided to get it as I thought it would give me some mobility with the instrument as well. Because of the way the cross-frame is constructed, the rubber grips are not adjustable to the same width on either side. And as my keyboard is not completely flat across the bottom (there are some rubber grips/knobs as well), it is very difficult to find the right position to place the keyboard while having it sit evenly on all the rubber grips (on the right end, the keyboard is barely touching the grips as they are too far apart). Stability is an issue. Even with the tooth lock fastened all the way, there is a wobble even playing in the middle of the keyboard with no adventurous techniques that an RCM examiner would frown at. When the keyboard wobbles, the music stand wobbles, and I'm actually taking a break now because I got dizzy from trying to read music from the wobbling piano. The stand also seems not to be designed for holding extra weight beyond the keyboard. When I put heavier music books on the piano, *the keyboard stand collapsed*. Fortunately my keyboard still seems to work, but this is a clearly not a suitable stand for full-sized keyboards and should never have been sold with one.

Great for a light keyboard. Folds down or adjusts height easily.

Definitely meant for a smaller keyboard. I got it for an 88 key and it wobbled a decent amount and not only when i played the lowest and highest octaves, almost any octave i played there was a slight wobble. the rubber that yorkville uses seems slightly uneven. maybe it was just the floor model that i bought at my long & mcquade..
