These strings are great! They last forever and when you have multiple guitars, coated strings are the way to go! The brightness lasts well with these strings, and the coating is so thin they feel like regular strings. The plain steel strings hold up well too. They lose their shine quickly but they don't corrode or rust easily it seems. They don't break often either. I would say these are on par with Elixir strings!

I was always a fan of the old EXP strings and was sad to see them go because I never liked the NYXLs they replaced them with. I just put a set of these strings on my Tele and based on the first week and a half, I have to say I like them! They feel smoother than the Elixir Optiweb strings, more like the Nanoweb strings, but with the punchier sound. Are they worth the price? Do I get 8-12 weeks out of them, or do I get 8-12 months out of them like Elixirs; only time will tell.
