Description

I've tried almost every D'Addario bass strign out there. I keep going back to these. They are expensive, but last a loooong time. I sometiems play 3-4 hours a day and I could easily get 6 months or longer. They are not quit as bright as the XL's so perfect for me. I found with the xl's they needed a week or 2 to pull, and these are perfect right out of the box. Nice feel, smooth but still some grip. With an active EQ I have no need to bigger then 45-100, I tried 105's and even though its onyl 5% thicker, my playing isnt a slick on them and my hands cramp up a bit with extended playing with a bigger gauge, so 45-100's it is. With D"Addardio, you can accumulate points and get free stuff which is also amazing. I play rock, blues, pop punk and reggae, they are perfect.
