The Jico J44D cartridge with N-44G IMPROVED NUDE stylus is designed to reproduce a broad, smooth sound with specifications similar to the Shure M44G cartridge.
Made in Japan, the N-44G IMPROVED NUDE stylus is attached to this cartridge. The entire tip of a NUDE stylus is composed of diamond, as opposed to bonded tips.

This is considered a DJ cartridge. It was originally a Hi-Fi cartridge by Shure and with this stylus it tracks lightly. Not super detailed but pleasant, no listening fatigue.
The conical tip means it’s less sensitive to perfect alignment. It has a wide soundstage with good imaging if not the most pinpoint. Put it this way…I have a Concorde Elite, and for most things I prefer this, and it’s about a quarter or less of the price, plus replacement stylus are much less money. The Elite has more detail for sure, but this cartridge makes me feel connected to the music emotionally.
