I learned to play guitar using only thumb and finger picks many years ago. I've owned a variety of thumb and finger picks - metal and plastic. Always have found it hard to hang on to a flat pick (I'm sure I'm not alone!). This Black Mountain thumb pick does the job of both. It's like using a flat pick and a thumb pick at the same time. Very nice fit. The light gauge pick renders a beautifully natural accoustic sound on all strings. I love it. I would give it an overall rating of 5 but it is a bit pricey.
