The Black Winter pickup is a savagely high-output passive humbucker built for extreme metal, with no less than three large ceramic magnets to ensure maximum output and sustain in all high-gain situations. The custom overwound coil design delivers incredible clarity in the mids and highs, while the low end stays controlled and focused. The Black Winter is designed to handle any tuning, no matter how low you go, and its voicing facilitates aggressive palm mutes, fluid sweep picking, and punishing lead tones. Question: Hi is the pickup a solder free installation?

Answer: I'm sorry it requires soldering. It is a 4C though, so you can wire coil splits and the like.

Question: Does L&M sell the 6 string Blacked Neck pickup as well? Currently I only see the bridge one.

Answer: We don't have the 11102-90-BBW in our system but your local Long and McQuade store could likely order it as a special order. We do also sell the 11102-92-BBW set for $329. It's not on the website, but your local store could order it for you, or you could give us a call at 1-855-588-6519 and we can ship it to you.
