Q & A
There are currently no questions for this product.
I was a Strat owner when Fender introduced these in the '70s. I immediately recognized the value of a single extruded piece of metal vs. the twisted string/ball end. Bought them and never looked back. Then, one day, I bought a set whose string ends went through a hexagonal bar of metal. I was appalled and switch to Ernie Ball. Lately I discovered (happily!) that Fender does indeed still produce proper Super Bullets. That odd set I bought must've been put inside the wrong wrapper! Glad I can get them again for my US$99 Monoprice Strat copy. :) Woo hoo!

I am a Fender Strat player, and my strings were so dirty that I needed new strings fairly desperately. Yesterday I got Ernie Ball Super Slinky's. They sounded cheap, played cheap, were rough on the fingertips, and the A string broke when I was putting them on. Today I bought these Super Bullet's and my Strat feels back to normal. The strings are soft to touch, play great, and the bullet makes a great difference. Recommend these for Strats, other guitars I do not know.

Nice lively tone and among the longest lasting of strings I've tried. Bullet ends are designed for optimal fit in Strat bridge. Not a whammy player myself, so can't comment if tuning stability is really that much better than with ball-end strings. In any case, for a Strat, you can't go wrong with these.
