This is an excellent vehicle for teaching contrast between the two style markings used throughout the piece: legato and marcato. Make sure that marcato passages are not too short; rather, they should have a bounce to them and a slight separation between notes.As its title suggests, Majestica is a musical celebration. The piece itself, while not programmatic in nature, receives its inspiration from the enthusiasm shown by the many young students in music. It seeks to embody the very magic that is music - the ability to transcend all languages and communicate any emotion.
