Especially given the price, I was impressed. The tone is pleasant, it is quite attractive with the wood finish (easier to grasp too),and it responds well throughout its range. It has some advantages over the competition: lighter weight, adjustable thumb rest, two places to clip the neck strap, and spare parts for the keys included. It is the easiest plastic bass I have tried yet to support--I can play it at length without the neck strap, so a good choice for a small player.
