Solid build and looks better than other boom arms of similar design.
Joints are constructed with heavy duty plastic on the outside,I can hear the base joint un-sticking with the bass of the arm when its being rotated, apply silicone lubricant and it should be fine with its indeed use, time will tell. The cable management system is a great touch, make it very sleek looking.
The green logos kind of look like a Mackie design. It holds my SM7B with ease.
Overall, This is a great product.
