Cramming huge amounts of flux into the voice coil gap, the G12 Century is staggeringly efficient and responsive, while at the same time exhibiting a musical character radically different to that of ceramic-based models. A satisfyingly tight bottom end combines with detailed mids and a crisp top end to deliver stunning definition over a wide frequency range. For speed and articulation, no other speaker comes close.

Visually striking, the die-cast aluminium heatsink minimises thermal compression and at less than half the weight of a conventional ceramic magnet speaker, the G12 Century still takes unbelievable punishment before it distorts.
