Rossini's "Barber of Seville" is certainly the composer's best-known work and one of the most frequently performed operas ever. This piano reduction follows the highly regarded Urtext edition (BA 10506) as part of the "Works of Gioachino Rossini" edition and is available in two versions - Italian-German, and this Italian-English version.

Both versions of the piano reduction offer revised and modernized singable translations in German and English.

The appendices of the score are all included in the piano reduction. They offer variants of individual arias, additional numbers created for specific performances and the transposed versions of numbers 5, 6 and 11.
