Description
The heart of DiMarzio's drop-in prewired P Bass harness is the combined use of our custom 500K volume and 250K tone pots. Introduced over 45 years ago, Dimarzio used a 10-step rotary switch to create a taper that works with their high impedance pickups. It's neither a linear nor audio taper pot - it's DiMarzio's custom taper.
To further increase reliability, the center shaft and threaded parts were made from solid machined brass instead of cheap castings. This assembly makes upgrading your bass wiring seamless and requires minimal soldering; also included are a Switchcraft® output jack and heavy knurled metal knobs.
