The Squier Mini guitar is the 3/4-size version (22.75" scale length) of the Squier Bullet guitar, and makes an ideal travel guitar for players of all ages or first guitar for kids. This is not a toy, though! Three single-coil pickups, a fixed non-tremolo hardtail bridge and five-way switching make the Mini sound as cool as it looks.!!!

Great for kids.0 of 0 customers found this review helpful

My 9 year old is using it learn. It?s easy for him to chord and power chord. Good quality, but doesn?t hold its tuning very long. I tune it every day or two and turn him loose.

I had high hopes for the Squier Mini Strat after reading many reviews. I bought my daughter a Baby Taylor in the summer from L&M as she is progressing well learning guitar. For Christmas I wanted to surprise her with an electric guitar and since there are few options in this category (small size electric guitars) I went with the Squier Mini Strat. I own many guitars and have been playing for 40+ years, so I know my way around a guitar. I am very disappointed that this guitar will not stay in tune. I can feel the cheap machine heads slipping as we try endlessly to tune over three days now. Whle the body, fit and finish are good, arguably, quality tuners are the most important aspect of any guitar. If it won't stay in tune, then nothing else matters. I now will either have to return the guitar to L&M or invest in some quality tuners (likely another $100 for some Grovers). Not happy and wanted to alert potential buyers about the cheap tuners on the Squier Mini Strat. Our $100 Denver acoustic stays in tune far better than this Squier Mini Strat.

My cousin has this guitar, but I have played it enough to know about it. It's nice and small, good if you're learning, but quality is bad. It's already breaking down. And the sound quality is bad. I'd recommend spending $40 more and get one of those Epiphone LP juniors.
