Description
The MPX-T675A has a new saddle top with sliding height adjust base. The T675A saddle tops have also been totally redesigned with comfort and ergonomics in mind. The shape of the saddle has changed and is now a bit wider. Also (and this is cool), the top tilts backward by two degrees. This tiny amount of tilt is designed to help improve the player's posture, stability, and prevents the feeling of sliding forward.
Mapex upgraded their throne bases, and now the 600 series also have these new upgraded tops as well. These new tops are softer, more comfortable, and more ergonomic. Mapex continues its tradition of providing drummers with professional grade gear at a better price option than all other competitors.

On the plus side, the seat itself is comfortable, and the height is appropriate for a 5'10" person. On the negative, the seat has a bit of a wobble no matter how tight you turn the nut, and no matter how tight you put the height adjustment nut and key, if you drop your weight on it, it has a bad habit of slipping down (200lb person).

All the bolts came undone, one at a time, thru the first night's show. I have them all torqued now and loc- tited but I had to pick up parts from the stage after the show. Seat still wobbles.
