DiMarzio PAF 'Tron Neck Pickup - Nickel Cover with Black Insert

The PAF®'Tron is DiMarzio's famous PAF® formula in a Filter'Tron housing, engineered to keep the classic PAF sound. The PAF®'Tron Bridge is louder than the PAF®'Tron Neck pickup and is designed to balance with the PAF®'Tron Neck while retaining the classic PAF sound. With its soft magnetic field, sweet tone, and perfectly balanced warmth and clarity, the PAF®'Tron will have you spending more time playing guitar and less time tweaking your tone.

By duplicating the traditionally weak magnetic field of PAF pickups, the strings vibrate longer and deliver an articulate attack and output. DiMarzio winds one coil at a time on their computer-controlled winding machines, guaranteeing correct layering of the custom-coated 42-gauge wire to achieve the exact frequency response they want.

The assembled pickups are then dipped in a wax formula, eliminating squeal and microphonics when played at high volume.

The PAF®'Tron Neck includes optional mounting hardware for humbucker mounting applications.
