I bought this on a whim to run with a small rather inexpensive headphone amp and I was completely blown away by what I heard. I even ended up buying a higher-end cartridge for my old Rotel TT and what a difference. I definitely recommend it if you need a Phono pre-amp to just test out turntables or you're just getting back into LPs.
