Description
The exterior design of the Griego-Ashton Series is retro, stylish and elegant, and the rim, cup, throat and backbore designs are unlike any other mouthpieces on the market. Your sound on a Griego-Ashton mouthpiece will never be edgy however much air you put down the horn, and you will hear bags of color and overtones throughout the range. The rims are designed for comfort and maximum flexibility.
Top players who tried prototype mouthpieces during development were surprised at the incredible resonance, sound quality and vibrancy, and frequently commented on the 'fat low register', 'ringing high register', 'incredible intonation' and 'liquidy sound'.
The Griego-Ashton 4 is for those players who like a smaller feel to the rim but do not want to sacrifice sound. Like the 3, it is an excellent all-round mouthpiece and good for those players who prefer a smaller rim. It has the consistent Griego-Ashton comfortable rim and produces a very crisp, clean sound.
