Loved the Book!! Jane provided an insightful roadmap to get an A on your Grade 8 piano exam.
Her book is user-friendly, provides clear instruction, examples and practical tips.
I also appreciated the practise charts included in the back of the book. A must- have!

A great book for piano teachers that are just starting out or those that have many years under their belt! This book is endorsed by a renowned pianist. This book is also great for students that want extra knowledge to give them a step up. For younger students - their parents will find this book useful to know the process and what is needed to excel and get an “A”! This is a necessary book for the stack! Helpful charts are included at the end.

Not only is Jane Arrowsmith an incredible piano teacher but a great author as well! This easy to understand step-by-step guide is essential for any parent or student wanting to better understand their piano journey. It has everything from essentials in piano technique and the importance of tonality and style, to the specific requirements for each graded exam so students understand what is being evaluated. The practice sheets are really helpful too. I highly recommend this book!
