Description
D'Addario Chromes Flatwound Electric Guitar strings are the choice of discerning players for their smooth feel and warm, mellow tone. The strings are wound with flattened "ribbon" wire, then polished to an incredibly smooth surface. Great for classic jazz tone and rockabily twang!

I bought 2 sets to use on my Archtop GB10. The first set, the G 3rd string intonation was off, string from the second set was fine. They do play nice on the GB10 with great tone control when switching back and forth from pick or fingerstyle.
Might go back to TI's though, a little more expensive but great control on the GB10.

These flat wounds are smooth playing and eliminate string screech when playing bar chords. I use them on my hollow body guitars and which our local store stocked them.

Adds a classic beauty to any guitar's sound. Works particularly well with P90 pickups. They're not tremendously easy to bend but that is mostly to do with the heavier gauge.
