Question: Can this be used for my J-185 acoustic?

Answer: It's meant as an electric stand, so I don't think a j-185 will fit.

This stand is amazing, premium quality and really complements your high end Gibson instrument, and works for acoustic and electric guitars. I love that it is made from actual wood cuts used from their guitars and is built in Nashville. Nice job Gibson 👍
