Bought this in 2016. Didn't want a flimsy stand that would bend and get worn easily. Saw this and it immediately appealed to my aesthetic sensitivities. After two years of use in my home studio, it has gotten slightly darker as wood does when it ages. No cracks. Foam parts are slightly compressed where the guitars and basses have been placed, but still intact without chaffing, cracking or tears in the foam. It is a definite conversation starter and works with oddly shaped instruments if placed off centre. Squire j-bass sits perfectly upright. Would not recommend for touring. No balance issues. Needs tightening with Allen wrench periodically to retain solidness. For me, easier to use than stand with neck support as I don't have to line things up. I expect it to last another two years easily. Treat it with care and respect, not rough, and not like a delicate object either. Very good product and would recommend it.

For Chinese this stand is well made. Comes with a handy bag for giggin'. Has Allen wrench to tighten up and loosen clamp screws.
Bought this because it takes up less space that a regular tube guitar stand and looks a bit tricker with its wood base. This stand as you see does not support the guitar neck so might not be suitable for rough use but I think it looks excellenant and more appealing for display purposes.
