If you are planning to hang electric guitars such as Fenders, or Gretsch, (or parlor acoustics/ Taylor mini's) look else where. Epiphones/Gibson's and PRS seem to work okay.
Padding gets dented with guitars that are a bit heavier. Had my kids not jumped on the box, I would have returned this right away

Got it for xmas and it hold a resonator banjo and hollow body guitar, bass is TBA. Sturdy and stable. Good for light use.

The telescoping section wouldn't hold the weight of two basses without sliding down. It should have a screw tightener instead of a toggle latch,

The other comments about the strength of the clutch and small headstocks are correct. This could be okay for acoustic instruments or perhaps two acoustics with one lighter solid body - but first satisfy yourself it's working okay. A Fender bass, hollow body bass and acoustic guitar were too much. For lightweight use the price is okay, much lower than other three instrument stands, but be careful how you load it.
To test this stand I first hung three basses: two Fenders and a Rickenbacker. Not a hope! The only saving graces were the guards on the neck yokes to keep the basses from falling over and the three legs that the two Fenders rested on once the stand sagged. If you need a stand for solid body guitars, I'd suggest you'll want to spend more.
The comments about small headstocks are also right on. The neck yokes are much too wide for a Telecaster headstock. Considering the difficulty this stand has with heavier loads I'd have thought at least one yoke could be sized for a Telecaster or with an adjustable feature. You're not going to hang a six string bass on it anyway, and the yokes are more than wide enough for a seven string or classical guitar so I'm not sure why they need to be so wide.
As I don't need this for three acoustics I'll be returning it when I next go by the store.

Got this but didn't see the comment regarding tele and similar slim headstocks. Worked fine for my LP and my reverse-headstock shredder but the tele head is way too slim and no way to adjust. The arm is also welded two-piece so no way to modify without risking breaking the weld. Too bad, was otherwise good value considering $150+ for Hercules and similar models. Will likely end up with a 3 or 5 stage stand as the next best option.

If you own a Tele or anything with a similar headstock the stand will not hold it at the headstock. If it's going to hang guitars it has to adjust like the Hercules wall hanger. Otherwise it is useless for a number of guitars. Highly suggest the touring stands as an alternative.

It works great... If you only put light guitars on it. A few solid body guitars and it sags down, not sure if the Hercules triple does the same. Good quality overall, works great for acoustic and hollow body instruments.

The stand works well , however you can not put 3 heavy guitar's on without it droping in height. les paul, telecaster, and firebird and down it goes

I've had this stand for over 6 months now and have NO complaints. I have an LP, acoustic a bass and an acoustic bass that all rest quite safely either in groups or individually. You could pay more for the fancy Hurc head rest or bottom rest, but you don't need them.

Its not bad but not great. The bottom part that pushes the guitar out at an angle always falls inwards and I constantly have to readjust it. Plus no matter where I put it one of my guitars is against the wall and hard to access. Also pretty pricey for what it is really

I bought this stand to hold my guitars and basses. Well the guitars it held good, but my bass must have escaped to McDonalds or something, because it collapses every time i put my bass on it!
