The labeling on the packaging is misleading since it’s claiming to be a double set, yet the wound strings are not long enough to be cut in two. I bought two packs believing I was going to get four sets of strings. When I opened both packs they only had a single wound D string (.033") and G string (.027"). The fluorocarbon B and E strings were long enough to be cut in two, but the wound strings were not. I thought there must have been some glitch with the packaging since their low G sets come with two sets of single wound strings for both the low G and C strings. I contacted Oasis directly and the owner, David Hepple said that this is normal and they only come with single wound strings. I'd love the“Southcoast” Linear Baritone DBL Set but I'm not impressed with the deceptive packaging and I am not prepared to pay $30 for a single set of strings.
