Mouthpiece Trueing Tool designed for quick and easy repair of the shank in any damaged brass mouthpiece. Works with all brasswind mouthpieces from French horn to tuba. Simply insert the tool into the shank end of a mouthpiece and twist. The tool is machined from stainless steel and features rubber coated T handle for a sturdy and comfortable grip. Bent mouthpieces (for brass instruments) cause tremendous back pressure. Tap the tapered end into the bent shaft of the mouthpiece, tapping with a hard plastic hammer around the mouthpiece shaft to make it round again. Tap in further if necessary, tapping the mouthpiece shaft round again. Works like a charm. This well made tool is a must have in every band director’s tool kit.
