Studio 49 Series 1600 Pao Rosa Bass Diatonic Xylophone - C - A1

Handcrafted in Germany, Studio 49 Series 1600 instruments offer a mid-priced option for those seeking strong projection with the larger volume associated with traditional resonance boxes. These instruments have attached handles that make them easy to move around the classroom and rest in the FSD stand. Smaller in size than the standard Series 2000, Series 1600 basses produce ample volume to satisfy your classroom needs. The patented, solid pine resonator boxes are built with multiple resonance chambers to produce the rich, resonant tone that is the hallmark of Studio 49.

Series 1600 xylophone bars are constructed from pao rosa, an African rosewood. Ranging from C - A1, the BX 1600 includes F# and Bb accidental bars and a pair of S 3 mallets.
