Like another reviewer, I had one bolt that was so jammed on arrival that the allen key reamed it out. I eventually managed to cut a groove with a rotary tool and bang it loose with a chisel. Not great quality, I'm afraid Once assembled, they do the job, although I wouldn't mind more weight in the base.

I picked up a pair of these today to support my set of Rokit 5’s. Set at 40” tall and very stable. Excellent investment.

I Bought two of these today. Assembled the first one with ease. The second one had the end bolt set in so tight I couldn't get it loose. I ended up rounding the head with the allen key, so now it's useless. Not sure why it needed to be set so tight at the factory when the customer needs to loosen it to attach it to the platform. Back it goes.

These are a good balance of sturdiness, adjustability and size. The bases don't take up much space at all; you can easily tuck these up next to a desk in a tight space or rely on them out in a larger open space. Super quick and easy to assemble. The support plate that the monitor sits on comes with nice pads.

Hunted around, this is the best deal IMHO. I have 2 sets now, one for 7.5 inch monitors and one for Rockit 5s. No issues with strength or cosmetics. Great service from the White Rock store.

The stands are solid and for the most part well built. The cable clips are a good idea but fairly useless as any bit of tension from the cable will pop them out of the posts. When I opened the sealed boxes I saw the bases were scuffed and scratched. The folks on Bloor St. were happy to replace them but it wasn't worth a 200k round-trip. It doesn't affect performance and it's not a deal breaker but the manufacturing dept should show some pride and quality control before their products ship.

Had some issues at first but got this stand solid now. The base bolt doesn't handled to torque well and without torque one can't tighten the rod to the base as tight as they'd want it. This creates a small wobble that's not a big deal but can be very nerve racking. I fix this though by having my bolt sized and replaced with a hex-head so I'm no longer using an Allen Key but instead a ratchet to get it a few steps tighter without wearing down. I believe the size was M8x70? But I could be wrong, do get it sized so you're sure and exact! :)
