I wanted a light weight mini stand for my PA and Acoustic Amp. This is sturdy, lightweight and thus easy to carry. I had it for about 3 years now, might get another one for to keep both PA and Amp up.

I needed a not so big speaker stand that would raise my acoustic amp off the floor for about 4 feet. This is perfect. You have to tighten the knob really hard to stop the pole from sliding down. But after you tighten it properly it is fine. Wish it had a lock to stop it from sliding down. Maybe I would drill a hole and put a nail through it to hold it.
But I am happy with it. It is very light weight and easy to carry for a small coffee house gig.
