In the days of castles and kings, one would find a castle tucked away in the woods, maybe not even known to anyone outside the area. In the Middle Ages, communication and travel were limited. Many people never travelled more than a few miles from home. A Castle in the Woods, by Randy Navarre, is an ideal composition for students to perform on their first concert.
