Spirit of Concord was Commissioned by the Concord Middle School Band in Concord, MA, to commemorate the opening of a brand new middle school and the 250th anniversary of the town. This piece begins with an uplifting, fanfare-ish style then moves into a pomp and circumstance tuneful procession, portraying sentiments of gratitude, honour, anticipation, and celebration.
