The dedicated Layer buttons provide quick access to the controls of each of the 4 playing decks with the waveforms stacked in channel order on the full-colour touchscreen. Vital information including the deck number, track position, bpm, and time are brightly shown in the center of the 6", high-definition touch-sensitive jog wheels.

Ultimate DJ Controller for Serato DJ Pro and Virtual DJ
With "Computer Mode" enabled, the SC LIVE 4 can be used as a dedicated DJ software controller for Serato DJ (Pro license included) and is compatible with Virtual DJ (additional license required). For on-the-fly creative mixing, the 8 Performance Pads on each deck can be used to control Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Manual Loop, Roll, Slicer, and Slicer Loop modes. The onboard effects include 4 Sweep FX which utilize a dedicated knob on each channel to expressively control FX and Filter combinations. The 13 BPM FX options can be customized for extra sonic satisfaction using the FX control section which includes a Channel Assignment knob, Time/Parameter control, FX level encoder, and illuminated engagement button.

Full parameter controls over colour, intensity, strobe, and more can be adjusted on the fly for jaw-dropping light shows using Phillips Hue, Nanoleaf, and DMX lighting.
