The powerful multi-ceramic magnet structure enables this monster to cover lots of territory. It's capable of producing the dark, smoky sound of a classic humbucker with plenty of midrange complexity. But it also has a bit of extra high end sparkle that makes it suitable for just about any style of music you might imagine. This is hands down my favorite bridge pickup! I have it in all my Gibson's. Flying V, Les Paul traditional. It has enough gain to handle metal and it can be easily tamed when you work the volume control on your guitar for other tones.
It may not be for everyone, but after trying dozens of aftermarket pickups in the bridge I came back to this.
