Handcrafted in Germany, Studio 49 hand drums have a solid wood shell and tunable heads made from either natural calfskin or plastic. The natural skin head offers a warmer tone, but may require more frequent tuning adjustments with changing humidity and temperature. Designed for easy handling, these tambours allow students to explore rhythm and keep a steady beat. They are available in four sizes: RT 250 and RT 250/P (10"), RT 300 and RT 300/P (12"), RT 350 and RT 350/P (14"), and RT 400 and RT 400/P (16").
