The Yorkville SKS41MP is a very sturdy monitor stand weighing in at 13 lbs / 6 kg, half of which is the isolation top. The top is 9 in. / 23 cm square, perfect for my Neumann KH120 monitors. The stand ranges in height from a minimum of 29 in. / 73 cm to a maximum of 45 in. / 114 cm. It should be noted that the height adjustment is not infinitely variable; it adjusts in 2.5 in. / 6 cm increments.
Two bolts are used to attach the top and base to the shaft of the stand. Don’t panic (as I did) when you can’t find them in the bag of hardware. They come attached to the shaft itself.
There is a Yorkville logo on the shaft, which suggests that it is the forward-facing side of the shaft. That puts the two adjustment knobs out of sight on the back side. There is no mention of this in the instructions but it made sense to me…. AFTER I incorrectly assembled the first stand.
The base is triangular. From a stability perspective, it doesn’t matter which way its oriented, but its kind of handy to align your monitors when the base is pointed directly at you.
I briefly considered going with Yorkville’s less expensive stand, even though it did not have the isolation top. I’m sure it would have been fine but a voice in my head said “You just spent $1000 a piece for a pair of monitors. Are you sure you want them on the least expensive stands you can find?”. Nope.

I needed a set of adjustable stands for the studio and these things worked perfectly. Very good quality and price was not too bad. Highly recommend them.
