Chrysalis is a unique collection of inspirational, warped harp sounds and tools created by award-winning film & TV composer Samuel Sim and the Spitfire team. Centred around a deeply sampled studio harp, the library goes far beyond the classical instrument. Its core concept, stemming from Samuel's professional demands to create something "totally new" yet "unfamiliarly familiar," was to craft an instrument that could be used like a piano, project like a harp without the classical baggage, and play like a guitar without ethnic connotation. The team took extreme steps to bend the sound, resulting in a collection of fresh, edgy, and instantly gratifying instruments Samuel describes as "2am instruments" - presets designed to help composers quickly complete a cue during late-night sessions.
