Description
Originally developed for Johnny Farina of Santo & Johnny, the duo behind the legendary song Sleep Walk, Antiquity for Stringmaster vintage single-coil pickups are wound for that distinctive 8-string Lap Steel sound. The front-side pickup is wound "top going" and North polarity. The rear-side pickup is wound "top coming" and South polarity. When used in combination with each other the pickups will be hum-cancelling.
Both vintage single coil pickups have the traditional pole spacing and the magnets are protruding from the top and bottom of the flatwork for a smooth, even response. Each of these vintage single coil pickups is recreated to fit into your old classic and comes with schematic and mounting screws. Hookup wire is the classic "push back" cloth wire.
